Pride of being established at 2004 as the First Sri Lankan Company to offer Holidays to Expatriate & Domestic Markets including the Sub Continent (Malaysian) we made a steady growth as a Entity. Turning a New Chapter in the Travel then we stepped into the Luxury FIT market of European Travelers & the Group Destination Management with MICE for Eastern European Region which paves a success story.  Being started at a small office premises in the City today we are headed towards our own vehicle yard with Brand New Office complex at Negombo are under the guidance of our Chairman .

Founders Story

-In 2001/2002

After completing Secondary Education, entered into the Industry as a Resort Represensive for SAGA Holidays UK at Premier Beach Resorts of Tangerine & Royal Palms Kalutara whilst reading for Certificate & Operational Managerial levels of CIMA-UK. Later promoted to the capacity of supervisor for the Both Travel Counters of the Two Premier Beach resorts in Kalutara to Promote Excursions for Russian Markets.

2002-2005

-Whilst studying of Diploma in Tourism Management at NZSTT worked as Holiday Consultant at Holiday Shoppe NZ which & served for Long Haul & Short Haul Markets  with global partners like Travco Travel, Luxury Holidays , Asia Experience, Vintage Africa , Relaxing Journeys New Zealand & Australia , Nazarene Tours Israel. Before Returned to the motherland, gained more exposure as the Manager-Holidays for Air New Zealand.

Awards & Achievements

Take Part in the WTM UK in 2004 November & "Sarisara" Media Production featuring Sri Lanka before forming Finest Expeditions with the idea of becoming the first & specialist for Domestic Market.

Later Expanded operations with 2 more Staff members by getting into the Winning Expatriate Market.

Further grabbed a Prestigious Award for the First to Introduce Seat in Coach & Join in Tours for Philippine Market from Singapore Airlines Holidays from its Country Manager & the President of Philippine Tourism.

After Air Asia commenced their direct Flights to Colombo on 2009, It was another historical land mark

for Finest Expeditions as it further enhanced its operations in Malaysian Market after visiting MATTA

fair & some Agents. In 2009 September Asian ITB fair Finest Expeditions has begun a new era with its outbound wing with specialist Group Tours to China, Egypt, Nepal, Holyland, Kenya, Tanzania & India with Several Group Departures.

We've recently took part on Event Management for hosting IIFA Awards Ceremony in Colombo.

Amongst the key achievements are becoming the Leader for Organized Group Tours Last Year.

Being started with only 2 staff members we are now looking forward to enhance our Formidable Force with

New Horizons with  4 new faces & relocate us at a Brand New New Office Premises at Negombo by year end .

Also Diversifying of our business  Educational Consultation will add us a new outlook.

Latest Technological Advancements including Galileo gives a cutting edge for the high quality

operational setting. At present we are in process of transforming to Skype from Online Chat
