Day 01 -Airport/Negombo

Meet Greet & Assist upon Arrival at the Bandaranaika International Airport. Overnight at Paradise Beach Resort, Negombo

Day 02 -Sigiriya/Habarana/Giritale (B/L/D)

Set off after an early breakfast to scale up Sigiriya the awe-inspiring rock citadel built by King Kassyapa in the 5th century BC, a UNESCO world heritage site.

After Lunch let us treat you to an optional Elephant-back ride to travel as Kings did in the ancient days at Habarana.

Check in at Royal Lotus Hotel, Giritale, a scenic lake resort. (Transfer time: 1 hours)

Embark on an optional jeep safari in the evening to Minneriya or Kaudulla National Park

a transit lounge for large numbers of Asian elephants.

Day 03 - Giritale/ Polonnaruwa/ Dambulla/ Kandy  (B/L/D)

In the morning venture out to the ancient Kingdom of Polonnaruwa, Sri Lanka’s medieval capital, which is also a UNESCO world Heritage site. (Transfer time: 15 minutes)

After Lunch stop over at the Rangiriya Dambulla Cave Temples, which houses the most number of Buddha statues at a single location. The statues date back to the 1st century BC & Matale Spice Gardens, and understand the essence of the many aromatic spices that was the guarded secret of medieval global trade.

(Transfer time: 3 hours)

Check in at Hotel Serene Garden Kandy, which is situated amidst the cool climes of Kandy.

In the evening set off to Proceed to the Temple of Tooth, a stunning temple that houses the canine tooth of the lord Buddha. Later, witness a vibrant cultural show of Kandyan Dancers.

Day 4-Kandy/Peradeniya/Nuwara Eliya (B/L/D)

Take a city tour of the hill capital, the Gem Museum, lapidary and ending with a relaxing stroll around the scenic Kandy Lake.

Evening visit the Royal Botanical Gardens, the largest garden in Sri Lanka home to many local and foreign trees and plant species.

Next will be one of the most scenic legs of the tour as the visitor travels across the highest plains of Sri Lanka. First stop at the Ramboda Tea Factory & Plantation to discover the process that creates the world-famous brew that is - Ceylon Tea. Thereafter proceed to Nuwara Eliya, the city located in the highest elevation of Sri Lanka for a brief tour after Lunch including Scenic Gregory Lake & Queen Victoria Park before returning back to Kandy.

Day 05 Kandy/Colombo/Bentota/Galle (B/L/D)

En route to Galle stopover at the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage , home to the world’s largest collection of orphaned elephants to witness the amazing sight of these gentle giants feeding and frolicking in the river (Transfer time: 2 ½ hours)

After Lunch Proceed to Galle to experience the golden sandy beaches and the azure seas of the southern coastal belt of Sri Lanka. Enroute Take a city tour of the well preserved Colonial buildings of the Colombo Fort, the Old Parliment and take some time to explore Colombo's shopping.  (Transfer time: 4 hours)  

In the evening cruise up the Bentota River in an optional Boat safari, meandering through the mangrove swamps enroute.

Day 06 - Galle/Mirissa/Airport (B/L)

Morning leave to Mirissa for a whale & dolphin watching excursion to spot the migrating mammals escaping the chilly winter weather (subject to seasonality) or sighseening at Still Fishermen in Weligama

Afterternoon tour  the famed Galle Fort, the most well preserved colonial sea fortress in the whole of Asia.

After Lunch stopover at the Turtle Hatchery, to release a baby turtle in to the sea on the way to the Airport.

Visits to wild life parks will be at client’s own risk. Jeeps available are non air-conditioned and very basic with basic insurance covers (not comprehensive as in the case of vehicles that will be used for tours).
